Want personal, one-on-one feedback on your idea or screenplay?

When you're developing a story or screenplay, one of the hardest things to do is to take a step back and get out of your own head.

We've all been there. Spinning our wheels on a script and getting stuck with questions like:

  • Is this the right idea for me to pursue?
  • How do I get the most out of my characters, world, and concept?
  • Is what I've written evocative, communicating, and working?
  • How do I make what I have even stronger?

At first glance, these questions may seem too subjective to answer helpfully. Person A might tell you one thing, Person B might tell you another, and neither are wrong.

So, how do you know who to trust? The way we see it, there are two major factors to consider:

1. Does the note-giver know story?

2. Does the note-giver want you to write their version of your story, or your version?

Ultimately, you need someone who understands underpinnings of story structure and why some stories work and others don't—not just "what would be cool."

And, you need someone who won't try to "fix" your story for you, but rather will guide you towards finding a solution in your own unique voice as a writer.

But we know how hard it is to find someone like that—especially if you don't live in Hollywood.

So, we designed a service to give screenwriters the kind of feedback we wish we had when we were first starting out.

Introducing...

A personal workshop designed to take your idea or script to the next level—your way.

Join us—Adam and Alexie—for a direct conversation completely devoted to making your story and screenplay the best it can be.

Ahead of your session, we will read up to a complete script—yes, a full feature screenplay! Then we will schedule a one-hour livestream consult. And, every session ends in written, tangible next steps for you to follow through.

We are big believers in the idea that YOU, the writer, have the best solutions for your story. And so our entire philosophy and strategy is about helping you to find those ideas for yourself.

So, what does a session include?

We read your entire script.

Let's start with the basics. To give you the best notes possible, we need to know what you're working with.

We will read up to a full feature-length screenplay (120 script pages) ahead of our one-on-one session.

Don't have a finished script? No problem! Send us whatever you have—any development documents, tentpoles, outlines—or just come ready to chat.

We ask you the right questions.

After reading your script, we—Adam and Alexie—sit down for a one-hour of face-to-face conversation with you.

We know that you have the best solutions for your screenplay. It's your story—not ours.

Our job is to help tease out your fantastic ideas by asking the right questions, and then give guidance on how you can get them on the page.

Meet with Adam and Alexie!

After signing up, you'll be able to book a session up to two months from now.
