Ready to level up your screenwriting?

Join a weekly Screenwriting Lab with Alexie Basil and Theo Luoma to get in-depth feedback on your work, give yourself accountability to get stuff done, and network with fellow writers.

Sessions will meet every Tuesday at 5:30pm ET starting March 19 and running through May 21. For the first time, we're holding sessions over Google Meets to encourage writers to also give feedback to one another and talk about their work!

What projects can you submit?

Every week, you can submit up to 2 development pages (tentpoles, treatments, etc.) OR up to 5 screenplay pages.

We will live-read pages for everyone in attendance and then workshop them! You'll have the opportunity to give and receive feedback from other writers present.

This coaching is not available for purchase.

FAQ

How long do the Screenwriting Lab sessions run?

We aim to keep them to about an hour, but if we have a very submission-heavy day, we might go for 90 minutes.

What if I can't make every single session?

That's okay! We encourage you to attend as many as you can to create accountability for yourself and build relationships with other writers, but you won't be kicked out for missing.

What are the dates for the Lab?

The Spring 2024 Screenwriting Lab runs from March 19 to May 21. We meet on Tuesdays at 5:30pm ET.

How will I join the sessions?

We will email calendar invites to all participants! Sessions will take place over Google Meets (nobody is required to turn their camera on if they don't wish to).

What if I want feedback on a longer project?

In order to get to everyone, we can only focus on a few pages at a time. However, we invite you to check out our one-on-one Story Consults!
